Spreading Wings Butterfly Project

Butterflies are flying insects that belong to the order ( Lepidoptera ). They share this distinction along with moths, which are more numerous. Butterflies are divided into two families; the true butterflies, Papilionoidea ; and the skippers, Hesperioidea.

The aim of the Spreading Wings is to create an environment in which butterflies and children can thrive. Through education, encouragement and co-operation, the encourages the reduction in the use of life-threatening toxic chemicals, which are hazardous to both butterflies and our children.
