Damaged Nest

The North American Robin is a familiar member of the Thrush Family, and common throughout North America. It is one of the first birds you will see in the spring and you may even see it in the winter. Its characteristic mark, is the red breast. They live on worms, insects, berries and fruit. Its song consists of several phrases, rising and falling, and often prolonged. The notes are a tyeept tu-tut-tut. They raise 2 to four offspring each year, with the eggs being pale blue. The nest; shown above; was damaged by kids whom would not leave it alone and he two eges were destroyed.
