Slate-Colored Junco
The " Slate-Colored " Junco is a sub species and is shaped like a Sparrow. I found this one in a group of Sparrows. They are Slate Grey with outer white tail feathers ( Lower Image ); a white beak and breast. The males have a dark cap and clearly shows a bib. ( Upper Left Image ) They live on insects and grains and are ground feeders.
