Mallard Ducks can be found everywhere, including the pond at the base of the old Beare Road Dump. Ducks are easy subjects to photograph, but getting individual birds and fantastic light is more of a challenge. It would be nice to see the Male Mallards head totally green. The colour can vary from deep purple to the green. Light makes a difference in how we see the head colour of ducks.
