The Boreal Owl ..... ( Aegolius funereus ) ( Right Panel ) is much smaller than the Screech Owl and does not have the ear tufts. They are tame, and may be approached without flight. They similar in appearance to the even smaller Saw-Whet Owl. The Screech Owl (Otus asio) is another small night owl whose call can be heard through the woodlands.
