The Damselfly and the Dragonfly look similar, yet are different. The difference between the two, is in the wings and how they are positioned, when at rest. The Dragonfly has four wings which are spread out when at rest. The Damselfly keeps the it's two wings erect and close to the body. The Butterfly and Moth share the same traits. The dragonflies flight is smooth, while the damselfly has a flight pattern

of that of a beginner; rather unsteady flier. I have been trying to get a photograph of Damselflies at rest; for some time; but they take off at the slightest movement. I saw these two spinning and tumbling from branch to branch, locked together in their ritual. When they came to rest I was able to shoot one digital frame.
