The Hobomok Skipper, may be found in along river edges, roads, fields, meadows and in tall grass. It feeds on grass and several flowers types. They are quite common and are a combination of yellow, orange and black. They are some what moth like; and at rest their wings are folded in different angles. Some suggest the folds are similar to that of a paper airplane.
