This is a member of the Brush-footed family and has angel like wings. You can just make out the curve of the wing. It is also known as the "Hop Merchant" because it's host plant is hops. These angel winged butterflies can actually become intoxicated if feeding on fermented fruit.

They are similar in appearance to the Question Mark Butterfly but without the tail. The Question Marks lacks the dark areas on the hind wings. These butterflies are rather difficult to photograph because they are always on the move. During a recent outing I was able to get one of these butterflies to sit on my hand; giving me a real close view.
