I cannot identify this butterfly for sure. It fits the description of the Eyed Brown and has all the characteristics of the Satyrs and the brush foot family. The lower wings on this butterfly are either damaged or not fully opened. The body looks damaged as well, but the butterfly did eventually fly away. The image in the right panel gives a better view of the eyespots, but I can only count 4 on the lower right wing. There should be at least five.
