The Forget-me-not is found near streams and wet areas. The flower is a sky blue with yellow eyelets and 4 seed like nut lets. It blooms May thru October. Other names for this plant are Scorpion Weed and Mouse-ear; but Forget-me-not has endured because of it's legend. The legend of how the plant got its name involves a suitor, who was attempting to reach this distant Blue Flower for his sweetheart; but instead he slipped and fell to his death. As he fell; legend has it; he cried out " Forget me not "
